Additional Verification on Email change

Hi,
is there a way to verify the ownership of the mail when it is changed?
Without this feature, any user can login and change the email address of the account, but when they do so, the email they change it to can be either fake, or wrong, and there is no confirmation, or email stating the email is changed.
