Hello – I’m hoping to get Amazon’s S3 us-east-2 region added to the plugin. All of my backup buckets are located in that region. Appreciate your hard work.

Hi @damienbowman, have you tried it and gotten an error? My buckets are also in that region but I’ve had no problem backing up to S3.

Thanks for the quick response Brandon. Here’s the error I receive when I pick any region and select the bucket I want to backup in:

[21-Jul-2017 11:38:59] ERROR: S3 Bucket “[S3 BUCKET]” does not exist!
[21-Jul-2017 11:38:59] ERROR: Job has ended with errors in 10 seconds. You must resolve the errors for correct execution.

But when I switch to the region where the bucket is and select the proper bucket it works. So I was under the assumption the plugin is region locked.

Not sure if it makes any difference, but I host on Pantheon and trying this plugin in their ‘dev’ environment.

Hi @damienbowman, I think you can just select US Standard and it should work fine. That’s what I’ve used for buckets in US East.
