    Hi Hannah,

    I wonder if you could help regarding icons. I have looked at the supplied icon file but could not see an icon for a shop. I have found on the web a icon for a shop which is in *.png file format.

    2 questions
    1) what file format do the icons have to be in ?
    2) where do the files have to be located to be picked up like your standard icon set you provide ?
    3) Do they have to be to a certain size ?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey,
    I would recommend using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-vector-icon-plugin/
    It adds over 490 icons, and allows you to upload custom icons.
    Hope it’s helpful!

    Hi Hannah,
    Thanks fior the note and I have downloaded the plugin but I cannot see how you add them into the top navigation bar as the only option is to add a css variable

    Regards

    Hi Hannah,
    Looked again this morning how do you use the downloaded icon as the only way you appear to be able top add an icon to the top menu bar is via css

    Thanks

    Hi Hannah,

    I have moved slightly forward with the icon issue. I added to the top bar menu “shop” the code wp-svg-office and as you can see (www.tipsyfruitgins.co.uk) it appears to have worked but it has appeared above the text “shop” the question now is how do you dring the icon and text in line like the other 2 selections ?

    Best regards

    Paul

    Hey Paul,
    Sorry for the delay! Try adding this to your custom css:

    .topbarmenu ul li a {
        display: inline;
    }

    Does that fix?
