    I’m looking at adding newsletter as a plugin so people can subscribe to newsletters when there are updates on a blog. as pupils as well as adults may sign up for these notifications I wondered what the DPIA implications were and if there was a need for one.

    Usually, the DPIA is required usually only if you manage sensitive data or in some other situations (for example, if you manage a large amount of data). Anyway, you should ask an expert about that.

    Remember the plugin just stores the data in your blog database, the data is not transferred externally.
