adding query string to permalinks 404 error.

Hi to all,

I am using latest wordpress with woocommerce plugin on my-account page i want to sort the things so i need to append the variable to my-account page url but i am getting 404 error.

http://www.example.com/my-account/ working
http://www.example.com/my-account/?s=desc 404 error
http://www.example.com/?page_id=41&s=desc 404 error.

Don’t know what the issue.

Please help to get rid of this issue.
