Adding pages – from a remote PC

    I have seen various posts explaining how to add pages to a WordPress site when the code that adds the pages is running on the computer where WordPress is hosted.

    What I am wondering is whether it is possible to create pages from my local PC and “push” them up to my WordPress site.

    Why? I would like to create a WordPress site for my Project365 photography project. That project has now been running for about three years, so I have the best part of 1,000 images sitting on flickr.

    I want to write a script that would query the appropriate albums in flickr, and pull down each photo and description in turn. It would also pull down the title and description, before packaging them all up into a new page on WordPress and post it to my site.

    Any suggestions?
