I could add that. What are your thoughts? Possibly something like…

    [loyalty-views]

and this value would end as a <span class="loyalty-js-viewcount>6</span> tag on your page. You could then add custom CSS to style those tags.

@danicasati I have added that shortcode. I’m not entirely sure how the wordpress updating system works but know that it is out there. You can manually download it from the plugin page.

    The shortcode is [loyalty_count]

I have also added shortcode documentation to the admin console settings menu.

    Enjoy!

    Great news!
But I can’t find to download updated version of the plugin.

The download button on the loyalty.js homepage, despite still saying v1, will download v1.1.0.0 which is the newest. You may have to do this manually.

    Here is a direct link.

    Thank you.
I’ve updated, but new shortcode doesn’t work for me.
    Blank result for any user.

Aha! Thanks for helping me find that. The issue was that the plugin was not firing if there weren’t any [loyalty] tags. So just placing a [loyalty_count] wasn’t doing anything. Ironically enough this was a fix I had to make in the actual JS library, but I’ve done that and updated the plugin.

I bumped the version number to 2.0.0 in an attempt to beat this funny wordpress plugin version bug. It still says 1.0. I must be missing something.

Anyway thanks for using it, hopefully this sorts out your issue!

Uff, I’m sorry, but blank result with v.2.0.
I’m using WP 4.0 in multisite mode.

Hmmmm. Are there any Javascript errors? Are you sure your using the shortcode exactly as:

    [loyalty_count]

There is no closing tag on this shortcode.

Can I send you by PM post where I put the shortcode?

Sure, you can email me at ivan [~a.t~] thosewhodig [ d.o.t ] net

I have updated the plugin and responded to your email. Please let me know if you see anything else.

I’ve updated to v.2.0.1, but no luck: same blank result is displayed.

It is working for me. Ensure that you clear your cache, as this is a Javascript update it can be a little, sticky….
