adding new content in main page

Good afternoon.
I would like to add some content, like html code (text box) in my front page. The new content I would like to be between the social media buttons and the articles. Anyone knows where I should add the code so I will be able to see the result in my main page. I tried to add “text” in my primary sidebar without result 🙁
