Adding new “categories”

    For some reason, when I add a new category, I am not seeing it appear when I click on “view the site”. I have done some poking around on the codex wiki and have tried to do a “null edit” to prompt a save and avoid a caching problem- without success. Any tips on how to make this basic adjustment easier?

    You need a post in that category for it to appear.

    You have to have a post in that category, by default, in order to see if. You can override this by making changes in the category template tag, but you have to have something in there to have it show.
