Adding more than one item from a page

I am in the process of setting up a new shop using your product.

Those testing for me said they wished they could either pick multiple items before adding it to the cart and only have to “add to cart” once or not have it take them to the shopping cart so they can continue to order from the same page.

I have searched the options and have not been able to figure out a way to set it up in one of those two ways.

Is that possible?
