Not at the moment. I wanted to be able to add them to the post tags, or image description, rather than as an extra EXIF field, but at the time I didn’t figure out how.
In what way would you find it useful to extract keywords from photos in WordPress? I think it would probably be as post tags, or as a custom taxonomy for images.

I think that makes a lot more sense to be able to add them as post tags – it would make them much easier to search. This would be a great addition if it’s possible?
Yeah, I think this would be a nice feature. Do you think it would be better to have a button where you can optionally add keywords from images, or just automatically add keywords as tags when a featured image is applied, or an image is inserted into the post?

I guess having an option is always good, although I think most people will want their keywords imported. It would be useful if they can be brought in when you set the featured image.
