Adding images – where do I do this

Hi,
I am trying to add images to my pages / posts but can’t see where to do this. I can see where to add media to a page but that just adds it inline.
I am using the Nitro theme, I don’t know if that makes any difference.

If you use the “add media” to a button, it adds it to wherever your cursor currently is.

Yes, but there is also the “Featured Image” which shows up as a thumbnail image on many themes, which is what I think you are looking for, judging by the link you included. Look for the “Set Featured Image” link when you edit your post.
(If you don’t see that link, click on “Screen Options” at the top of the page and tick the box marked “Featured Image”.)
