Adding external link under "Our Clients" widget

    Is there any way to link an image under Our Clients to an external site (i.e. the client’s website)? Whenever I type in the link under the customize option it only gives the link after my site’s name (ex. site.com/”_____enter link here____”). Thanks.

    That’s exactly what I am working on right now, same problem.
    It will take me to “mysite.com/the link I am trying to add”, which is an non-existent page.
    I’ll try to look up for ways to customize the widgets, if possible…

    Ok.. not sure if what I found can be considered a solution to this, just going to share anyways.

    I looked into function.php and the code for client widget, no luck there.
    By accident, I found out one of my client logo is linking properly to its link, and that’s because the link was entered properly during the client widget setup process.

    You must have http://www (or https) for each link for them to function properly, so disney.com will not work; nor will http://www.disney.com.

    Hope that can be helpful for some!

    As for opening the link in a new window, I still don’t know how to make that happen as a beginner..
