Adding Custom header support in theme must for approval?

    I am working on a new theme “corpocrat”. I noticed during my theme check by plugin, it shows adding theme support for custom header and custom background is RECOMMENDED in green. Is it a must?

    Does it mean that my theme will be not approved for not providing this feature?? Any advice is much appreciated
