Adding continuous posts on the same page

    I’m new to WordPress, but have been using templates for years. When I add a new post, where does it appear? I have an online magazine and want several posts on the home page, not just one. Then I want to assign where posts go.

    The template I am using is Twenty Fourteen and was selected from the popular items (free).

    Hey there,

    With the Twenty Fourteen theme you have the option of using a static page (which your doing) or loading your latest posts. This can be configured in the Settings > Reading admin page.

    If you want to keep your current setup but load some of your blog posts onto the homepage check out the Display Posts Shortcode plugin.

    If this is of no help perhaps you could provide details of your exact requirements and i’ll be happy to help as there a number of different ways things can be achieved in WordPress.
