Adding comments

    I have checked the allow comments box on each post and yet there is not a spot to make a comment. Why and how do I resolve this?

    Open single.php and look for <?php comments_template(); ?>. If it’s not there, you need to add it – probably just before the <?php endwhile; ?> line.

    I know how to get into cPanel and fumble my way around. But I would have not idea where “single php” is located. Please be more specific. I am very much a newbie. Competent but need patience and guidance. Thanks!

    OK! It worked. I have three of the posts that still do not have comment boxes. They were once catagorized but I changed them to uncatagorized. Now none of them are catagorized.

    What does that mean anyways? To be catagorized?
