Adding another site to an account

I have been in charge of a few company websites in the past, I have had access to a wordpress account where I was able to edit multiple sites. With the new account I’m working with now, I am trying to add another site to the admin account but I do not see the option. I’ve looked on tutorial sites and they have buttons I am not seeing like ‘add new wordpress’ Any idea how to remedy this?
