Hey, using the nonprofit license of The Events Calendar…

I want to add a subpage to The Events Calendar that has Q&A for users using the community plugin.

E.g. The Events Calendar lives at mysite.com/events, and I want to add my own page to mysite.com/events/using-the-calendar.

The problem is that since TEC creates the page via an endpoint (and there’s still no full calendar shortcode), I cant select TEC as a parent page!

I tried creating a fictitious parent page via wordpress, but it overwrote the TEC endpoint, so no luck there.

    Suggestions?

(PS: while you’re at it – any way to rename the community-events urls? – its not in the documentation).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

It is not possible to create a subpage as you describe as our Event Views are not pages, but archives.

You can create another page it just cannot have the same slug as the event views.

You can change the word community in the slug here:

Events > Settings > Community Tab > Community rewrite slug

    Cheers
