Adding a note to Profile Update form

    We use s2Member Pro to manage our club membership database. When members create / update their profile they see asterisks (*) besides some fields.

    I know this means that those particular fields are REQUIRED, but nowhere on the form is there a note indicating that is what it means.

    I regularly get asked by users less familiar with using web forms what the asterisks mean. Some know enough to look for a footer.

    Is it possible to add that notation at the top of the form?

    Hi Roger,

    At end of the form usually stay a message about the *, so if you didn’t see it, it may be there, but hidden by CSS settings. Open the HTML code and if it is there, fix your CSS.

    Thanks Krum…

    I will look into that… it could be that our Headway Theme is inserting some CSS that is blocking it. Cheers…
