Adding a filter to change item/items lang

Hello and thank you for the great plugin…
I need to change the language of the item/items to the Turkish equivalent but don’t have any experience in this. Going through the archive of the resolved posts here I was able to change the text for Empty/Full cart by adding a filter but don’t quite know how to do the same for item/items.
I’m also willing to prepare a translation for this in Turkish… I’d appreciate it if you could guide me on this and tell me where and how to start…
