Add to Cart issues

I am having an issue with my cart. When someone clicks the ‘add to cart’ button another pop up underneath comes up with ‘add to cart’ again. I want this to be just one click without the additional pop up box that appears out of site unless scrolled down to. Any ideas?
I am new to wordpress, so be gentle.
