    Hello support,

I am using tablepress for most of the wordpress site I am working on and think it is ace. I was wondering if there is any way that it would be possible to add to the search functionality on my tables. I was hoping that I could do 2 things:

    1) Change the text of the search box to something other than just “Search :”, i.e. “Table Search :”

    2) Have it so that, if a user was to type i.e. “apples” in the search box for a table, when the results are returned, the user would get a comment back saying, “The following items match your search term ‘Apples'”. And ideally this be placed just below the search box, above the returned results. If this is possible that would be great.

If anyone can help that would be great, thank you

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

Number 1) is possible by using the TablePress Extension from http://tablepress.org/extensions/change-datatables-strings/

For 2), I don’t know a solution unfortunately. This would require modifications/extending the DataTables JavaScript library that TablePress uses for the search. As I’m not the developer of that, but only added it to TablePress, I don’t know how to do that though. Sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias
