Add Streaming Data

Hi All,

I have a couple of questions regarding the use of streaming data in WP –

First of all, does anyone know how I could us streaming data to modify information on my site? For instance, let’s say I want to list the value of a stock portfolio in real time. Is there any way I could list a certain number of shares of a specific stock on my site, then use streaming stock quotes from another site to constantly update the total value of those shares of stock?

Second, if I were to utilize streaming data from another site, would this compromise the security of my site?
