• Greetings,

    I have a Delux Linux hosting account with GoDaddy. I have one website setup as the root, and then another website setup as an add-on domain to the root website in cPanel. I’ve searched the web high and low, and while I find a lot of people with a similar issue, none seem to touch on an add-on domain.

    What I’d like to do is make a sub-directory under the add-on domain accessible outside of WP. I’ve attempted to edit the .htaccess file and apply numerous codes that have helped others, but nothing ever works for me. The structure is;

    Primary:
    root/public_html/primary_website

    Add-on domain:
    root/public_html/add-on_website.com/folder_I_want_access_to/

    I’m assuming it would be the .htaccess file in the “add-on_website” folder I would have to edit. How can the .htaccess file be set up to allow access to that directory, and any directories / files in it?

    I appreciate any help!
