Add new Emails

    First I love your plugin 😀

    But I have a problem. i wrote a very very smal plugin to add new emails into woocomorce.

    I can see my new created emails in the woocomerce setting
    (woocommerce -> setting -> emails) but not in the email editor.

    do you know why?

    Hey,
    Emails have to be programmed into the customizer to show there. Is your plugin here on the repo I can look at adding support? Otherwise, you would need to hook into the customer email type list, as well as outline how the email should be controlled and what object needs to be passed into it.

    Hi Ben,

    would you consider adding the email templates of the very popular plugin “WooCommerce Germanized“?
    This would be great, as my custom templates in the child theme seem to be ignored when your plugin is activated.

    I don’t know that plugin well, is it adding new email templates or is it overriding the woocommerce email templates.

    my custom templates in the child theme seem to be ignored when your plugin is activated.

    Which templates?

    Hi Ben,

    I changed a few things in one of the Germanized templates and therefore copied it to my child theme. But with Email Designer activated it seems to be ignored.

    Do you mean the name of the template file?
    The template’s name is customer-new-account-activation.php, which can be found under: woocommerce-germanized/templates/emails/

    Hey,
    This plugin doens’t edit that email template. Help me understand, when that email is sent what goes out? Have you contacted woocommerce-germanized support?
