The “Format” shot you posted is for the “Post Format” value that WordPress assigns to the “post” object type. The Quick Edit area you referenced is for the post object type as well.
MLA only works with Media Library items; it does not interact with the Post/Edit Post admin submenu in any way. Adding the post format to the quick edit area for posts is outside the scope of the plugin.
