I will try deactivating my other plugins and see if there might be some conflict. It sad, because it was working flawlessly before this update.

Solved. On a hunch, I switched my server’s PHP version to 7.1 and now it is working properly.
That’s awesome! Not sure what was causing it but upgrading PHP version is always a good thing so let’s count this as a double win! 🙂
I am having this same issue, not being able to add any new downloads since the upgrade. I do not have access to the server PHP version.
