add field to cart

I’m trying to put a location information in the cart, and let the user select one of the warehouses then submit the warehouse code with the product information in the cart, so the client can see cart and find easily the products by warehouse code, I haven’t be able to add it.
I have been looking in the code but couldn’t find how to do it, I ask for help here, I thanks in advance for your advices.

In order to add custom fields to the checkout page, please follow the recommendations of this guide:

Also, it sounds like the Custom WooCommerce Checkout Fields Editor plugin might do the job for you. Here is a direct link to this plugin:

Hello I appreciated your help, it works for some issues I had, is there a way to pass the warehouse location using add to cart, if the client lives in texas and wants a product in new mexico warehouse, how can I give that information along with the product added to the cart. taking in a account there probably 3 warehouses and clients across the country.
