• Does anyone know how to add the “extended profile” tab to the edit sections of users?

It’s to allow for posts/blogs to show the author and their business at the top of the post/blog, e.g. “Posted DATE by NAME of BUSINESS”

Ps. A friend has this option on their WordPress but doesn’t know why/how.

  • Sounds like it might be a Buddypress feature. Can you share a link to both your site, and your friends site so that someone might take a look at what plugins and themes both sites are using?

    Hi Clayton,

Thanks so much for your message.

    My website: http://au.lowimpact.org/
    Friends: http://www.lowimpact.org/

I have searched through the plugins but I currently can’t work out which one it might be.

    Thanks again

www.lowimpact.org is using Buddypress. I suspect that’s the difference.

Thank you Clayton! I have the extended user tab 😀

It does say “NAME (me) has been marked as a spammer. All BuddyPress data associated with the user has been removed”

Do you know how to fix that? No worries at all if not, you have helped me heaps already!

I don’t have a clue. You may want to disable this plugin however, before you go much further.

It’s old, outdated, and probalby going to conflict with Buddypress features.

Some must-read info on what Buddypress is and how it’s used. https://codex.buddypress.org/
