Add custom taxonomy to current category
-
Hi,
I know I am probably overthinking this since I have been at it for a few days but I am having the worst time and I know it has to be so simple.
I created a custom taxonomy and added it to my category page in WordPress. I want that custom field to show under the current category.
I created a field “custom_term_meta” and when I edit the fields for the current category, it saves beautifully. When I call it under the woocommerce_after_subcategory_title hook it returns the correct value BUT under the child category only (ex. If I saved it to the category shoes it shows under womens shoes not shoes). How can I get it to return the value on the category I added it to under the category name? I call it using the following code:
$queried_object = get_queried_object(); $t_id = $queried_object->term_id; $term_meta = get_option( "taxonomy_$t_id" ); echo $term_meta['custom_term_meta'];Thank you so much in advance!!!!
