Add custom browser versions?

I’m using this plugin in my company and I stumbled across a problem.

In the BE I selected that the “old browser” box should appear on safari on version 8.
On the iPad Air 2 the text doesn’t appear. When I debugged through the code I noticed that the iPad says that his user agent has the version 8.1, which is greater than 8 so everything is correct.

So I searched for a Filter/Action to add a custom version (like 8.9) to the BE. Sadly I didn’t find any suitable ones.

So would it be possible to add such a Filter/Action to the code? If not I’m also open to other solutions.
