Add a MetaData to Calendar

I created a user-meta-dropdown for “Editor” (To assign an editor to follow an article) and would like the name of the editor to show up on Calendars, as a filterable field. Thus editors could quickly see which projects they are managing.

Help with the function to do this would be terrific. I found some previous threads that had similar, but different questions:
