It shows at the very bottom that “Comments are closed” Have you double checked your discussion settings? Also, be sure you don’t have any plugins such as “Disable comments” installed and activated.
Thanks Mike. The “comments are closed” is due (I believe) to the fact that it is an old post and I have my comment settings set to close comments after 14 days. When I draft new posts, the “add a comment” does not appear. -I’ve pulled my new posts because of this, so there are none there to demonstrate it. I’ve checked several times to ensure I don’t have anything with “disable comments” activated. Any other ideas?
And to confirm, you have checked your settings under “discussion” under General-settings? http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Discussion_Screen

can you make at least one new post so we can try to see where the problem is.
I am also having the same problem as Karl. I’ve tried deleting all of my plugins but that did not work. At the bottom it says that comments are closed. I’ve checked the settings and the comments are turned on. Another problem that I’m having is when I save or publish a page or post, the spaces between my paragraphs are removed.
