    Hi xaviermi,

    thanks for reaching out.

I am seeing this for the first time. Maybe that page was linked by accident somewhere else so that Google learned about it. If a user that has no login can’t access that page then Google will remove it eventually.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

I will monitor the situation with the Google Search Console. I hope it’s just a Google error

    Hi @xaviermi,

were you able to find where the edit page is linked? The only idea I have is that maybe you are using caching for logged-in users as well which might cache the link for search engine bots.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

Thanks, it was just a guess and the only explanation I could come up with since the Google bot should otherwise never learn about the edit pages in the backend.

If your robots.txt file contains an entry to disallow everything after wp-admin to be indexed then the edit page should vanish from the search console report.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
