    Hi Guys,
I just tried to add a new Image Ad on my website and realized that I’m not able to upload an image somehow.
Normally, when I select “Image Ad” as “Ad Type”, possible settings for that Ad including the button “Select Image” should appear under “Ad Parameters”, right?
Unfortunately, I can’t set any settings or images there at the moment, because nothing appears under “Ad Parameters”. Only after I publish the Ad with all the other settings set, I get the chance to set “Size” in “Ad Parameters”, but nothing else. (see attached image)

I then realized that it’s the same issue with already existing Ads. When I open them to edit, it shows the same behavior as demonstrated above: just “Size” is editable.

Any idea where this comes from and how to fix this?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day,
    Simon

    Hi @simonarnold1801,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Could you please check whether you have any ad blockers active in your browser or on your device, and disable them temporarily for testing?

This issue is most commonly caused by ad blockers, as they can block elements in the Advanced Ads backend, including the image upload button.

Please also note that even if you do not have a dedicated ad blocker browser extension installed, some antivirus tools include similar ad-blocking or web-filtering features that may affect the Advanced Ads backend. Network-level ad blocking can also cause similar issues.

I recommend testing the issue in a different browser, on another device, and on a different network to rule this out.

If you are sure the issue is not caused by an ad blocker, then it may be a conflict with your theme or another active plugin. In that case, please run a conflict test by temporarily disabling all other plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme. Then check whether the issue still occurs. If it does not persist, please re-enable the plugins one by one, checking each time until you find the source of the conflict. We explain here how to use the health check plugin to run such test.

You can also inspect the ad edit page by right-clicking on the page, selecting Inspect, and checking the browser console for any related errors that might help you identify the cause. Please feel free to share those errors with me, and I will gladly take a closer look.

    Thank you!

    Best regards,
