Richie, thanks for your reply. But, honestly speaking, I am a complete rookie in this thing. I just developed this website by using google and wp forums, no other idea. I dont know anything about child theme, or how do we make such changes in the theme. So can you please tell me about it? I didn’t update the theme because I have developed all of this simply by these forums, if I update, I am afraid all the settings will be changed. Please. Thanks.
just download the latest version, unzip and copy paste only the file i mention above into yoursite/wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/lib/functions/
then the widget you use should be able to echo the shortcode.
How do we copy paste in there? I did right click, but there was no paste option. I clicked on widget-functions it didnt do anything either. I tried to drag as well but it didnt work. Please reply, thanks alot!
you will need FTP access to manual upload the file.
right click -> copy the lib/functions/widget-functions.php
go to your site FTP -> browse to folder wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/lib/functions/ -> right-click -> paste.
Sorry again but I think I can’t find the exact place. 🙁 I logged in http://ftp.trendingsport.com and went to functions thing, but I still can’t find a way to paste it there. It shows no option to paste when I right click.. it gives simple options of a webpage of back reload inspect element etc.
And I use CPanel.
