Active Directory Authentication

    I have been trying to get Active Directory Authentication to work on my wordpress installation for a while now but can’t seem to get it working. I downloaded one plug in that has a test feature.

    After putting all the settings in when I run the test I get a message that OpenLDAP is not installed.

    I tried to install OpenLDAP but the installation is pretty confusing. I don’t think I need the server I just need the client. Instead can I use winbind perhaps would that work?

    Also will I require a domain admins account to configure either?
