Afternoon Eike;
Have a look at the FAQ, esp. the “Help, I have a blank page after enabling Autoptimize!!”-part.
Hope this helps,
frank
With the legacy thing in the wp-config.php, the CSS now works fine.
But I have some trouble with the JS Optimizing. I tick the Checkboxes, but nothing happens, when I check it on page speed insights and Kingdom tools.
So what do I wrong?
Cheers,
Eike
no idea, should have a link to your site to be able to see if and why JS is or is not optimized really 🙂
frank
OK, so there is JS optimization (e.g. http://moebellagernord.de/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_20a116e028cfd7d10fef58e493291de5.js), but a lot of files seem not to have been aggregated by Autoptimize. What JS optimization options are active? anything in the “exclude from optimization”-field?
frank
Well, I missed that, but should be better optimizing, aye?
I checked the first and second options. So Activating JS at all and Forcing the Header
this ist on the excluding list.
s_sid,smowtion_size,sc_project,WAU_,wau_add,comment-form-quicktags,edToolbar,ch_client,nonce,post_id
Afternoon Eike;
Had another look at your site and not sure if you changed anything, but the autoptimized js-files now seem to have a lot more JS in them.
When comparing pagespeed score with and without AO I see a significant difference;
HP without OA: 53
HP with OA: 69
Shop without OA: 44
Shop with OA: 78
Although some further optimizations of CSS/JS delivery would be possible, I think the main area to focus on would be image optimization (and server response time, which sometimes seems rather high, so it seems as though something might not be optimal in W3 Total Cache’s page caching configuration)?
Kind regards,
frank
