Hey, same problem here. But the update did not fix the problem. After a potential user registered the form does not forward to the success page. And the registration stay stucked.
In console is a nullpointer exeption of an getElementById tag.
Deactivate and reinstall did not work.

Not sending email with activation link. Straight login after registration. And the Role choosing in registration proccess do not assign the user to the role. Always as Subscriber. That’s wrong.
I am just before to start a big project and wanted to use Ultimate Membner. Are similar issues often? I can’t effort in any case to happen this again. 🙁 …wanted to buy a lot’s of addons. Hope it will be fixed soon.

Firstly, can you guys please check your user role settings and what default role is being assigned after registration. You can assign default user role in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Appearance -> Registration form and “Registration Default Role “. The role can be also assigned on the form basis in UM-> Forms-> your registration form and “Apply custom settings to this form” – Assign role to form.
Secondly, this issue can be caused by the conflicts with your theme or other plugins.
Please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if this issue goes away. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure.

has anyone resolve this issue yet, i’m on 2.0.16 version, and my site was working on 2.0.13.
