Accurate RSS Subscriber count

Hello, I was wondering if there was any way to get an accurate count of how many RSS subscribers I have to my site. I am currently using ShortStat for my statistics and it is great and I use Live 0.4 for live statistics and it works pretty good too. The only problem with these is that they also show when peoples RSS feed is updated and it looks the same as when they subscribed so it’s hard to get an accurate reading of how many people are subscribed. Is there anything that can tell me how many people are subscribed? I have seen this on other sites that I have my comic strip on when I look at my stats page it says “Number of subscribers: x” and I would like to see something like that for my own site. I would appreciate any help that can be offered. Thank you very much.
