After I click the “My Account” button, I can see a couple of pages in the account dashboard such as Order, Addresses, Payment method, and others but the page contents are the same which display the username and a paragraph “From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses, and edit your password and account details.” no matter I click Orders/Addresses/Payment methods/Account details. For example,  For example, when I click the “Payment methods” on the left sidebar, the permalink shows “https://naughtymi.com/payment-methods/?page_id=58” but the sidebar on the left still displays the current page as “Dashboard” and the page content does not change. Are those pages inaccessible?

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi @naughtymi,

If I understand you correctly, you are having trouble with clicking the pages under your account as they do not change to the respective pages, instead remain displaying the same content.

I tried checking your site and could notice that even trying to check out leads to a 404 error as shown in this screenshot here: https://snipboard.io/zVJiHM.jpg.

Therefore, it’s possible that there’s a conflict with another plugin or a problem with your theme.

Firstly, please ensure your WordPress, theme, and plugins are all updated to their latest versions. If the problem persists, try to deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. If this resolves the issue, reactivate your plugins one by one until you identify which one is causing the conflict.

If the issue is not resolved, there might be a problem with your theme. Try switching to a default WordPress theme like StoreFront to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, you may need to contact the developer of your original theme for further assistance.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please share with us your System Status Report, which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

I tried to deactivate all plugins (except WooCommerce) and used a default theme. The Orders/Addresses/Payment methods/Account details pages redirect to 404 pages. So I wonder if I possibly deleted those pages by mistake (if those pages were created by default?). If so, how could I restore pages that were deleted in Trash? Thanks!

    Hi @naughtymi,

It’s possible that the necessary pages might have been deleted. WooCommerce does create several pages automatically during setup, including the ones you mentioned.

As another troubleshooting step, I’d like you to navigate to Settings > Permalinks. Once there, click on the “Save changes” button without altering anything. This might help resolve your issue.

Additionally, I recommend removing the .htaccess file from your hosting root if you can. After deleting this, perform the steps mentioned earlier. This action will flush and rewrite your site URL.

If this makes no difference, go to Pages > All Pages and click on the “Trash” link at the top. If you notice any related pages there, restore them.

If the pages are not in the Trash, you may need to recreate them manually. For future reference, the shortcodes for WooCommerce pages are:

    • Cart: [woocommerce_cart]
    • Checkout: [woocommerce_checkout]
    • My Account: [woocommerce_my_account]

Afterwards, you need to link these pages in WooCommerce settings. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and assign the pages accordingly.

You can also create these pages automatically by going to WooCommerce Status > Tools > Create default WooCommerce pages.

Furthermore, please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and share a screenshot of the Account endpoints sections. Is it like below:

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Hi! Thank you for your detailed instructions, I successfully re-created these pages and made them public. Now every page seems to work as I expected. This is the screenshot of my endpoints sections. Thanks so much!
