Account Page as Child

Everything in the documentation and other support tickets clearly mention that the Ultimate Member account page cannot be a child page. The exact message is:

Ultimate Member Setup Error: Account page can not be a child page

Accepted.

However, I would like to understand why. It would be great (even premium worthy feature) if there were two features related to this:

• The account page allowed to be a child
• The account page account-id allowed to be masked

If the account page was allowed to be a child, it would support a pattern such as:
/member/account/your-account-id
If the account page account-id was allowed to be masked and the account page could be a child, it would support a pattern such as:
/member/account

This last example where the account page is collapsed entirely into /member/account is my real objective.

I am an engineer and happy to invest time into solving this, if someone would be willing to share why it is not possible today.
