    The account page works fine even when it’s a child page but there might be conflicts in some of the cases that’s why we do not recommend it.

    You can check this screenshot. If you really want it to be a child page, I suggest you give it a try and see if you experience any issues.

    I also would be interested in having the account page as a child page (to match my other user related pages being behind /dashboard/) — what conflicts does it cause in some cases?

    The issue is with the permalink structure. You need to modify the permalink structure to allow UM to handle the third parameter in the URL.

    Please do let us know if you’ve made the account page possible to be a child page.
