• I’m a newbie. My page is http://www.decomposingsb.com/. I want to change header images, but I don’t know how to access directories such as /wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/header/. I want to delete the existing image files there and upload new files to that location.

  • You need to learn how to use FTP if you want to delete and upload files.

    Thank you for responding.

I followed the WordPress instructions (and tried the ones from Bluehost). I am working with Filezilla. I’ve set it up as instructed (and many other ways as well) and cannot get it to see the remote site. I connect, and my password is validated. Then I get:

    Response:230-User dlpetry@decomposingsb.com has group access to: decompo1
Response:230 OK. Current restricted directory is /
    Status: Connected
    Status: Retrieving directory listing…
    Command: PWD
Response: 257 “/” is your current location

But / is empty and I can’t navigate from there to anywhere.
    My host is http://ftp.decomposingsb.com
    Servertype is FTP
    Logon type is Normal
    Username is dlpetry@decomposingsb.com
    Password is obviously working.

I’ve tried passive, active and default Transfer modes.
I also tried BlueHosts recommendation of entering /public_html as the Default remote directory.

    Thanks in advance.
