Hi, i am migrating my website from wordpress to webflow. I have created a staging site of my website as a backup. once i have migrated my site and my domain points to webflow, will i still be able to access this staging site? i want to keep this staging site accessible for my team for at least a few months.

my website for example is http://www.example.com. my staging url is http://www.example.com/backup. But if i point my domain to webflow will i still be able to access the backup staging site at http://www.example.com/backup?

    Hi @lkempsell

It won’t work the way you mentioned (I mean having the staging site in a subdirectory), however, if you have the staging site hosted as a subdomain, like staging.example.com, it will be possible to point the main site:

    example.com > to webflow IP.

staging.example.com > to the old server IP.

Let me know if you have any further questions,

    Thanks,
    Alaa

@alaasalama Can i put it on a subdomain from within this plugin. or do i need to do this externally?

@lkempsell First, you need to create the subdomain from your hosting control panel, then enter that subdomain information during the staging site creation process. Check this guide. It’s a PRO feature though!

@alaasalama which plan would i need? there are 4 options. is the personal plan okay for doing what i need here?

@lkempsell The personal plan supports creating a staging site on a subdomain.
