Accessing New Field Data

    I have a relatively simple use case and this plugin might be overkill but hoping to get some feedback. I want to create a single custom field for a User (a custom URL that is only updated via Admin and not by the User), then access this from a shortcode (using the URL in a Youtube plugin). Any feedback appreciated – thx.

    Hi @lmcminn,

    Custom fields are outside the scope of the plugin. WP Data Access focuses on relation models, while custom fields are related to custom post types. There are a lot of plugins you can use to create custom post types and custom fields. Please try browsing the WordPress plugin directory.
