• Powered Cache Version 4.0.1

When using ‘Purge All Cache’, the permissions for the ‘/wp-content/cache’ folder are set from 755 to 1411.

To ensure the website works again, the permissions must be manually reset to 755.

It would be helpful if this issue could be resolved before I purchase the premium version.

    Hi @welliathome,

Thanks for the report! Powered Cache never changes folder permissions itself, but “Purge All Cache” currently removes and recreates wp-content/cache. A permission of 1411 is what you get when something sets “777” without a leading zero, so we suspect another component recreates the folder. Could you tell us:

    1. Is FS_CHMOD_DIR defined in your wp-config.php, and if so, how?
    2. Which hosting/control panel you use, and whether any other caching or security plugins are active.
