And I also want to add organiser details. becoz i have multiple organiser so i need to put organiser details to know the people going to attend the event about the organiser and as i can see in your plugin the organiser name becomes the name of the person posting it. but i want organiser to be different and to be displayed. so how can i add organisers.
Hi Rahul,
All documentation on shortcodes can be found here: http://docs.wp-event-organiser.com/shortcodes/
Regarding organiser details – with events, the “organiser” is an alias the “post author”. So you can select the organiser from a list of users who are allowed to create/edit events (there are settings where you can change which role(s) have this capability). You can then pull the organiser’s e-mail, facebook, bio, any other details they have in their profile, etc as you would normally. (Edit the appropriate template, etc – see, for example, this tutorial on adding author details).
No other “special treatment” is given to organisers in the way of features. Additionally, no provision is made for adding/displaying details of “organisers” who aren’t users (beyond just using custom fields). These features are all possible, but are not catered for ‘out of the box’. I am, however, available for freelance work if you find there are any features you really need, and would like my help implementing them.
To show the event list I am using placeholders tags shortcode to show events on a page and its show perfectly but except that i am not able to use any other shortcode neither event_search nor event_booking_form. is all included in your free version or do i need to buy any thing as i can understand event_search and event_booking_form must be inculded. Kindle revert soon…
Hi Rahul,
To clarify: event_search, event_booking_form, booking_history, events_user_is_attending and events_map are included in Pro.
eo_events (event list), eo_calendar (widget calendar) , eo_fullCalendar (calendar), eo_subscribe (subscription link), venue_map (venue map) are all included in the free version.
The documentation pages for each shortcode indicates whether Pro is required.
