• As far as I know, Event Organiser does not allow you to add sub pages to Events. This has always been a little problematic for me. I’m wondering if anyone has workarounds for this or whether this might be something that could be added in the future.

For a client’s website we have an events section powered by EO. However for bigger events we can’t list all the details on just one page. For example we have the following pages:

    1. Introduction & Welcome
    2. Agenda
    3. Speakers
    4. Venue
    5. Booking

Some of the above can be added on the event page itself, but not all. It means we have to create a new section of the website with 1 page and 4 sub pages. These are separate from the event page itself. The problem is that the structure of the website is a mess and it’s confusing to the user since there is the event listing page and 5 pages giving more information.

    Any thoughts?

There’s no easy way of having subpages for events – but could you use tabs/accordions/expandable sections as a means of hiding content, but in an easily findable way.

That would also keep them on the same page, which sounds like it would have its advantages with respect to the end user ‘orientating’ themselves on your site.
