AAM + Toolset

Hello! I was looking to build a site with the Toolset plugin, but I need the ability for custom post types within Toolset to be only visible to specific users. I.e. a series of custom posts are created by an admin, for one specific user to be able to see and interact with. There will be many of these posts for different users.

It sounds like this is possible to control in AAM, but does it work well with Toolset? Has anyone done anything similar?
