    As this plugin seems to be the only of its kind still, but is probably abandoned, I have a little tip for others who also like to use it.
    All your searches are saved as transients without expiration time and that means:
    – they never get deleted from database
    – they are set to autoload

    The second point is quite a big performance problem. You have to disable autoload of these transients or delete them. There are plugins for autoload optimizations.
